Traditional Chinese Medicine

The essence of Traditional Chinese Internal Medicine lies in reading the body’s internal signals and trends through the Four Diagnostic Methods: inspection, listening and smelling, inquiry, and palpation. With this information, we craft herbal prescriptions that, through the unique properties and aromas of each medicinal material, create an internal environment that supports the body’s ability to heal itself.

Precision Diagnosis

Through the subtle rhythms of the pulse, we read the body’s internal state—just as one can sense the coming of autumn from a single falling leaf. From two small pulse lines, we assess the strength and condition of the body’s "inner army," revealing imbalances or deficiencies.

Abdominal palpation is also frequently used in consultations to swiftly determine internal states of excess and deficiency, providing valuable diagnostic insight beyond what the eyes can see.

Healing Through Flavor | Restoring Balance with Herbs Chinese herbal

Chinese herbal medicine is rich in distinctive flavors and properties. According to the Tang Ye Jing Fa (Classical Formulas of Decoctions), each internal organ is regulated through a combination of three specific tastes. Each taste added to a formula influences the functioning of multiple organs simultaneously.

By integrating pulse diagnosis with the Five Flavors—sour, bitter, sweet, pungent, and salty, we thoughtfully reconfigure the synergy of ingredients and flavor profiles to restore balance to the five organ systems and promote overall wellness.
